Tyler Burns is an Associate Attorney with the firm who was previously an Assistant Solicitor with the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit of South Carolina (York County). While at the Solicitor’s Office, Mr. Burns personally prosecuted over 1000 warrants involving DUI/DUAC, Felony DUI, underage drinking, all types of drug charges including possession/distribution (illegal, prescription, narcotics), criminal domestic violence, assault and battery, armed robbery, burglary, breaking and entering, larceny, gun/firearm charges, financial transaction card fraud, hit and run, and arson. He has received professional recognition from the SC Commission on Prosecution, SC Department of Public Safety, and National College of District Attorneys and has taught DUI classes to law enforcement at the SC Criminal Justice Academy. Mr. Burns is certified in Standard Field Sobriety Testing.  He is also a former Commissioned Captain in the SC Guard where he was Judge Advocate General in Columbia.

Mr. Burns is married and lives with his wife Sandi and their son Cooper in Rock Hill. They attend St. John’s United Methodist Church.  After his time prosecuting cases with the Solicitor’s office, he loves being in private practice and using his considerable criminal experience to represent and defend those who have been wrongfully charged in Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Indian Land, Lake Wylie, Clover, Rock Hill, McConnells, York, Lancaster, and Chester.
